Infrastructure-grade observation methodology for Energy×Compute
This document specifies the observation framework operated by EnergyCompute for energy-backed compute exposure.
The framework provides infrastructure-grade observation across multiple actor categories and infrastructure layers.
Observation covers the following actor categories:
| Category | Scope Tag | Layer |
|---|---|---|
| Datacenter | EC-DC | Rack & scheduler layer |
| Cloud GPU | EC-CLOUD | GPU allocation layer |
| Runtime Agents | EC-RT | Orchestration layer |
| Broker | EC-BRK | Brokerage / settlement layer |
Observations rely on machine-native signals aggregated across infrastructure layers. Consolidation is performed at period end. Internal units and weighting models are not publicly disclosed.
Signal collection occurs continuously. Aggregation windows align with calendar periods (monthly). Consolidation produces a single reference per actor per period.
The observation framework produces:

EnergyCompute standardizes observation and reconciliation so infrastructure operators and orchestrators converge on a consistent reference.
